This web page is intended to provide employees of Carnegie Institution with guidance to the benefits affecting their
employment. It is presented as a matter of general information and not intended as a comprehensive description of
all plans and benefits. Brochures and summary descriptions that more fully describe the benefit plans are available
from the human resources/personnel office (Kathi Bump) and the business manager (Mary Smith) of the Departments.
It is the intention of the Institution to provide its employees with the finest benefits available within its budgetary
constraints. While the Institution supports the plans described here, they are not conditions of your employment.
