ØDS 2019 Application
ØInstructions and Information on DS 2019

Once your application has been received and reviewed it will be transmitted to the Responsible Officer of the Carnegie Institution visa program in Washington, DC. If the Responsible Officer has no questions the information will be entered into the State Department SEVIS database program and a hard copy DS 2019 form will be printed and sent to you via air courier (DHL, Airborne, UPS). This process, from the time your application is received for initial review to when the printed DS 2019 is sent to you takes approximately 5 days.

Once you receive your DS 2019 you should contact the consulate/embassy responsible for issuing visas for your area for your personal interview. Attached are some informational files that may help you with the process.
