Teaching

We are teaching an undergraduate freshman course that describes the physical properties of light and the ways in which light is used by plants and microbes. This course is being taught by Dafna Elrad, Richard Zare, Devaki Bhaya and Arthur Grossman. Dafna, shown below (face view), has both structured the course and is creating a website that describes the course in detail. Grossman and Bhaya are also offering a course on the molecular biology of the algae, for which a website is being constructed.
